The Campsite
The campsite is
normally open April to October but, subject to weather conditions, we may open
either earlier or later according to requirements - if in doubt, contact us.
The campsite is in what was
once the orchard of a working farm it is roughly triangular and is of about 1
acre which slopes gently, east to west providing good drainage.
There are 8
pitches and electrical hook up (220/240v standard french plug) is available at all of them if required. There is
a wooden shed in one corner containing a communal fridge/freezer.
Near the
campsite entrance is a chemical toilet disposal point. A number of tables and
chairs are provided for your use and there are swings for the kiddies .
A gas
barbecue is available for your use for which we charge 3 per day/evening
including gas.

Most mobile telephones are usually
able to obtain a signal on
the campsite. If you wish to make landline calls or use the internet, our
charges are as follows:

Calls to anywhere in France: 1 Euro for 15 minutes
Use of
internet:
1 Euro for 15 Minutes
calls to the
UK:
1 Euro for 5 minutes

We welcome well behaved pets being dog owners ourselves and just
ask that they be kept on a lead or otherwise under control and that any mess be cleaned up for the benefit
of other guests.

There is a fresh water point beside the gate to the shower
block - Our water is very drinkable and makes an excellent cup of tea! A
flight of stone steps, leads from the campsite to the shower block where you
will find 2 shower cubicles with hot showers, 2 WCs, a washbasin, a washroom
with sink and drainer as well as washing machine and tumble dryer which are available on request
at 5 Euros per cycle. Outside the shower block is a sink and tap for washing
muddy items. There is also a washing line provided. Please ensure that young
children are supervised at all times.

To the right of the
shower block,
through the gate, is the pool, a 1.2M deep, above ground pool, chosen, as we feel
that they are inherently safer for children than the in-ground type. We do
insist however that children are supervised by an adult at all times when they are in
and around the pool.
PLEASE ASK AT THE HOUSE
IF YOU WISH TO USE THE POOL.

On holiday, you do not want to be
subject to numerous rules and regulations and we try to keep them to a minimum,
the few we have are:
 |
Please put all rubbish in
the
large bin beside the entrance gate. |
 |
Please ensure that all taps are
turned off (we have a metered supply). |
 |
Please respect the needs of your
fellow guests. |
 |
Please close all gates behind you. |
 |
Please do
NOT light fires (We are in
a conservation area). |
 |
Please
switch off the lights in the shower block. |
If
you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask us, we aim to make your stay with
us as happy as possible.
